GE Aviation working on NASA's new super plane

Cincinnati-based GE Aviation has been tapped to work on a new NASA super plane that could cut overseas travel time in half or more. NASA wants to develop a new line of so-called "X-planes" or "experimental supersonic" passenger aircraft that will move travelers faster than the speed of sound. Supersonic passenger jets haven't flown since the Concorde, which could travel at twice the speed of sound.
