In today's video, I'll take a look at what aircraft American Airlines operate! I can't imagine going back to maintaining lists of passwords or worse using a few password variations across multiple sites. My data and financial information are too important for that.

The Boeing 777X – What Does The Future Look Like Now?

Article | April 8, 2020

The aviation world is rapidly changing due to the current crisis, and no one is more affected than airframe builders like Boeing. With the Boeing 777X due to start service at the end of the year, has the crisis affected the new flagship aircraft’s development?Boeing is building a new generation of the popular widebody 777, much as it did with the narrowbody 737. This new version will have new technologies and new engineering, inspired in part by innovations built into the Boeing 787. These include bigger windows, a composite fuselage, and state-of-the-art cabins.

Is British Airways Eyeing A350 Flights To Melbourne Australia?

Article | March 9, 2020

The aviation world is abuzz with a rumor that British Airways is at least contemplating a return to the capital of Victoria. The UK flag carrier hasn’t flown to Melbourne since 2006, but inside information is suggesting that it’s a destination that is on the table for future network expansion. Currently, British Airways is the only UK airline still flying to Australia. Virgin Atlantic ended its London-Hong Kong-Sydney service in 2014, leaving just British Airways operating to Oceania, with its sole route a one stop itinerary between Heathrow and Sydney. Prior to this, BA had flown to Melbourne and Brisbane too, with stops in Hong Kong and Bangkok in the routings too.

The Boeing 797 – Here Are The Clues We Have So Far

Article | March 4, 2020

Like all things at Boeing, the 797 program has had a turbulent year. Less than a year ago the airframe builder was rumored to be announcing a new airframe at the Paris Air Show and now the Boeing 797 plans have been scrapped. What do we know about the 797 and how did we get here? The Boeing 797 was originally devised as a new aircraft to fill in the ‘middle of the market’ gap that airlines were contending with. This ‘gap’ is defined as aircraft that cater to the 220-270 field of passengers to a range of 5,000 nautical miles. A step up from Boeing’s 737 short-haul aircraft and below the Boeing 787 long-haul aircraft; a medium-haul aircraft, if you will.

Which Aircraft Have The Longest Range?

Article | March 20, 2020

Aircraft are built to travel vast distances quickly. But just how far can an aircraft fly, and which aircraft can fly the longest? Have a guess and see how right you are. As to make this a fair comparison, there are a few caveats as to ‘which aircraft can fly the furthest’. The first is that the aircraft must be in use by airlines or be under serious development. We don’t want to include a one-off prototype that can fly around the world on a single tank if you can’t buy a ticket to fly on it. We will be looking at jet propulsion aircraft and not planes that use other forms of movement.
