TRIP REPORT: American Airlines 787| business class| Chicago to Beijing

Our plane was scheduled to leave at around 5:50pm but was later delayed to around 7:00pm and got in around 9:00pm, about an hour late. However delay or not, the hours are very good! The plane leaves in the evening meaning you will get served a quick dinner and have time for some sleep early on in the flight. My recommendation for a flight with these hours is get a quick 2-4 hour nap in the first 2-5 hours of the flight because you will be arriving at night. What worked for me was to be tired upon my arrival so I could easily crash once at the hotel and take a nice long snooze in the hotel making me overcome jet lag pretty quickly.
