Irish aircraft-leasing company Avolon is suing Brazilian airline Avianca Brasil and its parent company for an alleged default on a lease for an Airbus jetliner, leaving more than $4 million in unpaid rent, US court documents show. Avolon is also suing both the airline and its parent, Synergy Aerospace for breach of contract over the two-year-old lease for an A330 jet and is seeking $5 million in damages, according to a complaint....

Avolon has finalised an order for 75 Boeing 737 Max aircraft. This comprises 55 Max 8s and 20 Max 10s, as well as options for another 20 Max 8s. The agreement, first announced as a memorandum of understanding at the Paris air show earlier this year, is valued at $11 billion at list prices....

Qatar Airways has announced a codeshare partnership with Deutsche Bahn (DB) the German railway operator, offering its passengers connections to and from eight key destinations in Germany, according to a press release issued by the airline.
