Cargolux Airlines has added a new weekly freighter call in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan on the back of demand growth. The Luxembourg airline said the new service complements existing flights to Turkmenbashi that were started exactly one year ago. Sept 03, 2016: The US Department of Transportation (DOT) awarded United Airlines final approval to launch service to Havana from two of its hubs this fall from November 29. United will start daily nonstop flights to the Cuban capital from New York/Newark and Saturday nonstop service from Houston with both services subject to government approval.
