Economic conditions in emerging countries took a toll on Falcon sales last year, reported Dassault CEO Eric Trappier on March 10 during the annual press conference at the company’s headquarters in Saint-Cloud, France. Last year Dassault received orders for only 45 Falcons, half the tally for 2014. NetJets canceled an order for 20, bringing the net total to 25. Canadian operator WestJet is planning a new transatlantic service. The Boeing 737 operated flight would be used to connect Canada’s Halifax to Manchester in the United Kingdom. Qatar Airways has announced a codeshare partnership with Deutsche Bahn (DB) the German railway operator, offering its passengers connections to and from eight key destinations in Germany, according to a press release issued by the airline.
