Japanese car manufacturer Toyota has been named as the lead investor in Californian-based aerospace company Joby Aviation's latest Series C funding round, which raised $590 million. Of that total, Toyota contributed $349 million. Air Canada is offering customers a choice of 97 destinations in Canada, the US and around the world with an abridged schedule this summer. Within Canada, the schedule will increase from 34 routes in May to 58 routes in June, with more routes expected to be added in August and September.
