Hawaiian Airlines has taken delivery of its first US-produced A321. The aircraft, delivered from the Airbus US manufacturing facility in Mobile, Alabama, is also the first new engine option aircraft (NEO) delivered from Airbus’ US facility. Hawaiian Airlines is expected to offer an additional service between Honolulu and Tokyo. The new service is expected to commence in early 2020 and comes following an early DoT announcement on the route. Qatar Airways has announced a codeshare partnership with Deutsche Bahn (DB) the German railway operator, offering its passengers connections to and from eight key destinations in Germany, according to a press release issued by the airline.
