Canadian start-up Swoop has filed a request with US regulators to begin flights to the USA on 11 October. In an application with the US Department of Transportation, the airline, a division of Calgary-based WestJet, says it intends to fly from Canada to Las Vegas, Orlando, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, and Phoenix. Qatar Airways has announced a codeshare partnership with Deutsche Bahn (DB) the German railway operator, offering its passengers connections to and from eight key destinations in Germany, according to a press release issued by the airline.
