Pratt & Whitney's (P&W) new PurePower geared turbofan (GTF) engine has entered into service aboard an A320neo aircraft, operated by Mexican low-cost airline VivaAerobus. During the first 9h and 32min flight, the A320neo flew from Monterrey to Guadalajara, Mexico. The aircraft made its first passenger flight on Oct. 18 from Monterrey to Guadalajara, Mexico. Qatar Airways has announced a codeshare partnership with Deutsche Bahn (DB) the German railway operator, offering its passengers connections to and from eight key destinations in Germany, according to a press release issued by the airline.
