Xiamen Airlines launched a thrice-weekly Xiamen-Los Angeles service on 27 June. The carrier is deploying Boeing 787-9s on the route. It also plans to begin a Xiamen-Qingdao-Los Angeles service later in December. FlightGlobal schedules data shows that the airline is the only operator on the Xiamen-Los Angeles route. Qatar Airways has announced a codeshare partnership with Deutsche Bahn (DB) the German railway operator, offering its passengers connections to and from eight key destinations in Germany, according to a press release issued by the airline.
