Alliance Airlines and GE Digital Aviation Software to Focus on Fuel Efficiency

Alliance Airlines has chosen Fuel InsightTM from GE Digital to focus its efforts on reducing fuel usage while having quick access to flight data. In addition, the airline is leveraging its current installation of GE Digital's Safety InsightTM product to maximize the value of the data it collects through a single software platform.

Alliance Airlines operates a fleet of 58 Fokker and Embraer aircraft around Australia, with an additional 17 aircraft set to join the fleet in 2022. It offers charter, fly-in-fly-out, and wet-lease services.

Fuel Insight works by analyzing real-world data from aircraft and airlines in order to reduce costs and emissions. It is designed to combine flight data with flight plans and find important insight to assist boost aircraft fuel efficiency and cutting down waste using GE Digital's sophisticated aviation data and analytics platform. Fuel Insight is designed to give operators actionable intelligence at multiple levels allowing analysts to drill down from macro trends to understand issues on a per-flight level.

Fuel Insight is a software program that creates fuel-saving dashboards with real-time data for examination. Alliance Airlines' personnel can immediately spot trends and anomalies in data that they previously didn't have access. Because of the automated dashboards, the number of resources required to conduct the analysis will be reduced, and the time to results will be shortened.

BlackSky Signs New Block Buy for Five Rocket Lab Launches
