Philippines receives bids for Clark Airport O&M contract

The Philippines Government has received bid documents from two consortiums for the operations and maintenance (O&M) of an existing passenger terminal and a new building at Clark Airport in the city of Mabalacat. Documents were submitted to The Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) and will be evaluated by the Special Bids and Awards Committee. The new terminal building at Clark Airport is expected to become operational by 2020 and is being developed to decongest Ninoy Aquino International Airport.One of the parties that submitted a bid was X-Droid Consortium. The group comprises Indonesian state-owned airport services company Angkasa Pura II, Globalport 900, Mazy Capital and Desco.
