Amazon.com has selected Fort Worth Alliance as its new regional hub and will build a brand new sorting facility at the airport, the Dallas Business Journal has reported. Construction of the new facility has already begun. It is expected to complete and become operational in 2019. We are excited to build a brand new facility from the ground up at the Fort Worth Alliance Airport. The new facility is the first of its kind for us, and we’re thrilled to ensure we have the capacity to continue to delight our customers," director of Amazon Air Sarah Rhoads said in a statement.
