ITS updates self-service border control kiosks at Vancouver Airport

ITS is a technology development division of Vancouver International Airport (YVR).Canada’s expanded biometric screening regulation, which will become effective from 31 March, will require major Canadian airports to conduct fingerprint verification for certain passengers using primary inspection kiosks.Once the regulation comes into force, all temporary resident visa, study, and work permit applicants (excluding US citizens), as well as permanent residence applicants, will undergo fingerprint verification.
