Talking on the phone through tears and rage, I tried to figure out my options with a Volaris airlines agent, after learning my 10 a.m. flight from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to Mexico City was canceled. (Volaris did send me an email the day before advising me to call the airline about a schedule change, but I entirely missed the message with a subject line in Spanish that looked like spam.)
