AerSale Buys 24 Boeing 757s For Freight Conversions And Parts

AerSale confirmed today that it entered a purchase agreement to take on 24 Boeing 757-200 passenger aircraft. All of the jets come with Rolls-Royce RB211-535 series engines. Additionally, 16 spares form part of the deal.
According to a press release seen by Simple Flying, these 757s are part of the approximately 500 commercial planes parked at AerSale’s sites at Roswell, New Mexico and Goodyear, Arizona, for several carriers and companies. AerSale not only provides storage, but it is also a global supplier aftermarket commercial jet aircraft, engines, OEM, and used serviceable material (USM). It also specializes in maintenance, repair & overhaul (MRO).
