On February 02, 2023, one of the global leaders of proprietary flight operations software, Aircraft Performance Group (APG), announced the signing of a three-year agreement with Vista Global Group.
APG continues a long-going relationship with Vista, the on-demand charter company worldwide. It provides a complete runway analysis, flight feasibility, and weight & balance software solution. APG's isFlightPossible API, complemented by the top-class iPreFlight Genesis iPad application, would be used by Vista, including iPreFlight Genesis PRO plan for Vista to upgrade over the coming months. Vista's members use these applications across the fleet of over 360 aircraft.
Reporting a double-digit growth in the first half of last year, Vista has expanded its business rapidly, with expansion across global markets, particularly in the US, and accelerating new client memberships. The Vista Group includes the top brands VistaJet, XO and Apollo Jet. The company's operations partners' network extends further to GMJ Air Shuttle, XOJET Aviation, Red Wing Aviation, and Talon Air. Recently, the groups supported the growing demand for its services through Air Hamburg based in Germany's acquisition and acquiring Jet Edge in the US.
APG has helped pilots and businesses that have worked with planes for over 20 years by providing mission-critical flight operations software. Vista will keep using iPreFlight Genesis as their aircraft performance solution. This lets pilots and dispatchers determine the maximum takeoff and landing weights and do the necessary weight and balance calculations. Vista will also use APG's isFlightPossible solution to determine immediately if a flight is possible and quickly find the best aircraft for any mission with minimal input.
