Berry Aviation to Provide A-ISR Support for MARSOC Air-To-

Aviation firm, Berry Aviation, Inc., has been awarded the contract to provide Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (A-ISR) in support of Marine Corps Special Operations Command (MARSOC) air-to-ground integration training. Berry Aviation's Cessna 206 aircraft will be specifically modified to provide turnkey services, including the platform, combat-experienced aircrew, and a remote portable Ground Control Station (GCS). Additionally, before global deployments, the A-ISR system will support practical, scenario-based training for special operations teams to help them achieve crucial skill proficiencies.

The MARSOC training contract is the first contract for the ISR division of Berry Aviation, which operates from San Marcos, Texas. As a result, Berry Aviation will now meet the requirements of MARSOC, including other component commands of USSOCOM component commands.

Berry Aviation will also be deploying a King Air 350 ISR aircraft, which is specially modified with proprietary sensor integrations to provide enhanced full-motion video and signals intelligence capabilities. It will be available for contract opportunities in the fall of 2023.

Director of Special Operations Support for Berry Aviation and MARSOC combat veteran, Stan Green said, "The aircraft is mod-payload compliant and purpose-built to serve both as a crewed platform and a surrogate UAS that operates within the National Airspace confines."
