Cargolux Airlines | September 08, 2016
All cargo carrier Cargolux becomes the second cargo carrier to utilise the Ground Based Augmentation System (GBAS) at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston. The Luxembourg based carrier has been operating at the airport since 2011. Cargolux will use GBAS to land at Bush Airport on September 11, 2016, joining Cathay Pacific as one of two cargo-focused airlines using the technology at the Houston destination. Four passenger airlines — United, Lufthansa, Emirates and British Airways — also use GBAS when landing some flights at Bush Airport.
