Clear deploys biometric scanners at John Kennedy Airport’s Terminal 4

Terminal 4 at New York’s John F Kennedy International Airport has partnered with technology firm Clear to introduce biometric scanners for passengers in the US.The biometric scanners are intended to help more than 21 million passengers a year quickly move through the terminal’s security checkpoints by having their fingerprints or eyes scanned to verify their identity and board their flights.Clear chairman and CEO Caryn Seidman-Becker said: “We want to help our members get where they are going with greater confidence and predictability, whether they are catching a flight or going to the big game.
