Delta Air Lines to buy 75 Bombardier C Series jets
Delta Air Lines | April 28, 2016
Bombardier, the heavily-indebted Canadian aerospace group, recorded a significant step forward for its C Series aircraft programme on Thursday when Delta Air Lines said it would be the first US airline to fly the aircraft. The order for 75 CS100 aircraft, added to the existing 243 orders for the model, means that the group will have achieved its target of winning 300 firm orders for the C Series when the jet enters service in July. The programme has experienced severe cost and time overruns.
