In a recent announcement, GA Telesis will disassemble three more engines (3) CFM56-5B, one (1) CF6-80C2, and one (1) PW4056-3. The engines are a part of a lease return pool handled by GAT's Flight Solutions Group (FSG) for disassembly and redistribution. The pool is sourced from the Company's Asset Transaction Group.
The used serviceable material (USM) will be available to GA Telesis' airline and MRO clients globally in the early months of 2023, after the disassembly and repair by FSG’s Component Solutions team. The company's largest product lines for jet engine componentry are represented by this new inventory, which includes some of the most pertinent inventory that airlines and MROs want. This stock will supplement an existing unrivalled independent USM jet engine stock, which will flow down to give GAT's airline clients long term cost reductions.
“This is a continuation of our leadership position in the aftermarket as we head into 2023,” said Alex Tuttle, COO of Component Solutions Group. “We very much understand our role as a critical supplier for cost-effective airline engine builds,” he added.
