GE Digital Forms Digital Alliance with Airbus and Delta TechOps for Fleet Health Monitoring and Diagnostics Solutions
GE Digital | July 05, 2021
GE Digital announced that it has joined the aviation Digital Alliance, an expanding collaboration launched in 2019 by Airbus and Delta TechOps. These aviation industry leaders are combining their respective industry expertise in digital analytics, aircraft systems, airline and maintenance operations, and fleet availability to provide cost savings, network efficiencies, and increased fleet availability to the 140 commercial aviation operators worldwide who are already using Skywise Core.
GE Digital contributes best-in-class predictive analytics software and extensive aerospace systems engineering expertise to Airbus' Skywise cloud-based open data platform and Delta's operational and maintenance excellence and associated predictive models. Airlines will benefit from cross-fleet health monitoring and diagnostics, reliability analysis, and predictive maintenance analytics with GE Digital's expanded analytics capabilities and systems portfolio spanning Airbus and non-Airbus OEM aircraft. By quickly predicting potential in-service problems across their entire aircraft fleets, airlines will minimize operational delays and expedite maintenance decisions.
The integrated capabilities will digitally change airline operations by improving collaboration between operators' maintenance control centers (MCC) and engineering and reliability teams and breaking down current information silos.
