KAC uses Altibase’s big data platform to control airport traffic

KAC will adopt the big data platform with the aim of harnessing a number of internet of things (IoT) technologies. Established in 1980, KAC constructs, manages and operates airports and oversees and controls airport traffic. It manages and operates a total of 14 airports across Korea.Altibase was selected after KAC extensively searched for reliable databases for its big data platform so that it can use new IoT technologies to improve the efficacy of gathering and analysing data, including passenger and airport flow.
