Menzies told to address competition concerns at Aberdeen Airport
Menzies Aviation | December 15, 2016
Menzies Aviation has been told to remedy competition concerns surrounding its takeover of US ground handler ASIG which would lead to a substantial lessening of competition at Aberdeen International Airport. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) said Menzies and ASIG, which Menzies agreed to buy in September, are already close competitors at Aberdeen Airport, and the takeover will mean only Swissport will remain as a credible bidder for airlines located there.
