Orlando Airport partners with SITA to install biometric gates

The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) has selected IT and telecommunication provider SITA to deploy biometric solutions at Orlando International Airport in the US. Working as the technology partner of the GOAA, SITA will deploy the US Customs & Border Protection (CBP) Biometric Entry and Exit Program at the airport. Under the terms of the contract, SITA will integrate its Smart Path biometric technology at 64 boarding lanes and 30 international boarding gates across the airport over the coming months. Additionally, SITA will deliver the technology solution, professional services, hardware, and maintenance, which will be backed by its global service management.
