Sikorsky Wins $387Mln US Army Contract for 35 Black Hawk Helicopters

The Sikorsky Aircraft Company, now owned by Lockheed Martin, has won a $387 million contract from the US Army to manufacture additional 35 Black Hawk UH-60M helicopters, the US Department of Defense said in an announcement.“Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Connecticut, was awarded a $387.18 million contract… for 35 UH-60M helicopters,” the announcement stated on Tuesday. Work will be performed in Stratford, with an estimated completion date of December 31, 2016, according to the Defense Department.
