Strict rules as drones can cause trouble for aviation

Considering Singapore's busy airspace and densely populated urban environment, tough laws are implemented to ensure that unmanned aircraft are piloted responsibly. And while recreational drone-flying without a permit is allowed, drone pilots must ensure they keep to certain regulations. These are detailed in the Unmanned Aircraft (Public Safety and Security) Act, passed in 2015 to better regulate the operation of drones and reduce the occurrence of accidents.
