The symposium will bring together key stakeholders from industry, academia, government and international organizations in the unmanned aviation sector to exchange research, best practices, lessons learned and respective challenges. Attention will be given to ongoing ICAO activities such as unmanned aircraft systems traffic management (UTM), communication, navigation, surveillance (CNS) and spectrum, as well as advanced air mobility (AAM), which need to be addressed collectively in order to facilitate unmanned aircraft integration into the global aviation system.

The event is the lead in CAPA’s series of global summits for 2024, which encompasses events to be held across the Asia Pacific, the Americas and Europe. The agenda offers comprehensive coverage of the air travel industry and the vital issues that are shaping the sector at the regional level and beyond. The 2024 edition of the CAPA Airline Leader Summit - Airlines in Transition is set to explore the ever-changing business models of airlines around the world, with deep dives into best practices for a sustainable future. With rapidly shifting passenger preferences, the ongoing rise of global awareness around environmental sustainability and instability in global economies and financial markets, the airline business models are rapidly pivoting to adapt to ever changing circumstances. Beyond this, the entire travel ecosystem is also looking to build their long-term strategies for the world of post-pandemic travel as the recovery transitions into a more stable situation. In a CAPA first, the 2024 edition of the Airline Leader Summit will also include a breakout stream focused on the air finance and leasing markets designed to broaden the scope of content available to attendees and delegates.
