Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission Meeting - December 6, 2018 - Tulsa International Airport

The commission was created in 1963 by the Oklahoma Legislature to advance, foster, and assist in the development of aeronautics in Oklahoma, including current and future aircraft, and to encourage the establishment and maintenance of public airports. This includes the preservation and improvement of the state’s 108 public airports, which make up the state airport system. The Commission fosters the growth of the aerospace industry, a top employer in Oklahoma, providing approximately 206,000 direct and indirect jobs, and ensures that the needs of business and communities in the State are met by the State's airports.
