Relief For Kingfisher Airlines Employees

In a relief to Kingfisher Airlines (KFA) employees who have claimed that they were hounded by tax authorities for non-payment of the Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) by now defunct KFA. The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) had issued directions to the field offices that taxpayers whose tax has been deducted at source but not deposited to the Government's account by the company will not be asked to pay.
