Alternative Aviation Fuels: Overview of Challenges, Opportunities, and Next Steps

The U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) invests in a diverse portfolio of energy technologies to create and sustain American leadership in the transition to a global clean energy economy. In addition to an overview of alternative aviation fuel trends, this report summarizes the results of a public workshop sponsored by EERE’s Bioenergy Technologies Office in Macon, Georgia, from September 14‒15, 2016.
