Stratolaunch: Biggest Aircraft in History

The Stratolaunch Systems carrier aircraft, to be built by Scaled Composites, will weigh more than 1.2 million pounds  and have a wingspan of 385 feet - longer than the length of a football field. Upon reaching launch altitude of ut 30,000 feet (9,100 m), the rocket booster separates from the carrier aircraft and fires it t fines to propel the payload into Earth orbit.
