2018 Global aerospace and defense industry financial performance study

Global aerospace and defense industry recuperated as revenue growth increased in 2017; however, the industry lagged compared to the global gross domestic product (GDP). Global aerospace and defense (A&D) industry revenues grew 2.7 percent or US$18.3 billion in 2017 to reach US$685.6 billion.
