In its heyday, air travel was a magical experience. Every passenger felt special and valued, with processes that put the traveler front-and-center of the entire experience. With the rise of mass-market tourism and business travel, prices have tumbled and safety standards have soared, but the magic of air travel has faded. Considering the practical challenges of granting personal attention to individual travelers when they number in the millions, it’s easy to see why.

Founded by one-time coastal truck logger Daryl Smith nearly forty years ago, the privately owned, domestic airline is now the sixth largest airline operating at Vancouver International Airport, and third largest in takeoffs and landings.
