European Aviation Safety Plan 2012-2015

The present document constitutes the second edition of the European Aviation Safety Plan. It covers the period between 2012 and 2015 and has been developed according to the same methodology that was used to develop the first edition. Therefore the main risk areas have not been changed. Like the first edition, this second edition of the Safety Plan encompasses three broad areas: systemic, operational and emerging issues. The risks identified in these areas are mitigated by safety actions that Member States, EUROCONTROL, the European Commission, the industry and the Agency take on board. All the partners work together, streamline their activities and add their efforts to drive our accident rates even further down.
