Ireland’s aviation offering has seen considerable growth since the birth of commercial aviation in the early 20th century. Indeed, one of Ireland’s earliest introductions to aviation came with the landing of Alcock and Brown in 1919 in the west of Ireland following their completion of the first ever transatlantic flight.
