The new Rules of weather for Aviation ground operations

Most weather software solutions for aviation are focused on weather conditions high in the sky. They track the storm patterns and pockets of turbulence that will affect a plane in-flight, but they're not as focused on ground-level weather that affects take-off and landing and the timing of operational activities. For any commercial, business, cargo, or private flight, it's critical to understand weather conditions on the runway to maintain safe and efficient operations. We spoke with some leading operations professionals in commercial aviation to see which conditions they find the most challenging and which types of information they look for in modern weather solutions to help mitigate risk and maximize efficiency.
