The deal, valued at $222.5 million, brings 380 people from Tri-State and 27 fixed-wing and rotary aircraft to Air Methods, (Nasdaq: AIRM), which is based at Centennial Airport in Arapahoe County. Bell Helicopter delivered the first EMS-configured 407GXP to Air Methods at a ceremony at Air Methods headquarters in Englewood, Colo., on Monday. This is the first of what could be up to two hundred 407GXPs delivered by Bell to Air Methods over the next decade. Canadian operator WestJet is planning a new transatlantic service. The Boeing 737 operated flight would be used to connect Canada’s Halifax to Manchester in the United Kingdom. Qatar Airways has announced a codeshare partnership with Deutsche Bahn (DB) the German railway operator, offering its passengers connections to and from eight key destinations in Germany, according to a press release issued by the airline.
