A Virgin Atlantic pilot requested "priority landing" at Heathrow after a passenger on board fell ill. The pilot of the VS20 flight from San Francisco made the announcement after declaring there was a medical emergency at about 11am today. The airline tweeted: "Just to let you know this is a medical emergency due to an unwell passenger. "The flight is continuing on to Heathrow."...

Passengers escaped from an American Airlines plane at Heathrow Airport on Sunday morning, following a "technical issue". Footage of the aircraft showed passengers disembarking on an emergency slide at the rear of the aircraft at Terminal 3. Airport fire crews were dispatched to the aircraft, but no-one appeared to be injured during the evacuation....
