IFS, the global cloud business software provider, announced that JAL Engineering Co., Ltd., the maintenance and engineering subsidiary of Japan Airlines, has chosen IFS to enable fleet-wide long-range maintenance planning. Long-range planners will be able to swiftly design and distribute regulatory-compliant fleet maintenance plans that best support aircraft availability, task yield, and hangar utilization for over 200 aircraft using the IFS system, which will be hosted in the cloud.
