While securitisation has thrived in the US and Europe, securitisation market for Asian issuers has been underdeveloped until the first Asian aircraft securitisation took place in 2015.

Manned Electric Aircraft: First Big Orders - What Next?

Manned electric aircraft are transitioning from dream to delivery in a very short time. Several developers have orders up to $165 million to prove it. This webinar shares some of the research from the major new IDTechEx report, Manned Electric Aircraft 2020-2030. It explains how those walking before they run are showing earliest success, from two and four seater pure electric aircraft to seaplane and small passenger plane conversions. Learn how IDTechEx finds that the more glamorous vertical takeoff and landing VTOL and larger fixed wing electric regional aircraft will also be a success but multiple issues mean that it will take longer. What components are involved? Do solar wings make sense? Which companies are in the lead? Range/endurance? What comes next? As sales increase exponentially, learn the basics from this webinar.

Connectivity Trends Fueling the Future of Helicopters

Rotor & Wing International

Connectivity is no longer a luxury; it’s a mission-critical capability for helicopter operators. Understanding how FDM analytics work for your mission – oil and gas; air ambulance; VIP/executive transport; or law enforcement – is essential for efficiency and safety. Additionally, reliable and consistent connectivity could be the difference in completing a successful mission. But connecting a helicopter is more than just a simple install.

HyperWorks for Aerospace: Model Build

Altair

HyperMesh enables Aerospace engineers to build models coherently from concept models to global loads models and then to detailed FE models (GFEM to DFEM) based on a common CAE Master Model Organization. The structure can be shared easily with PLM, PDM or CAD systems. The master model approach allows for individual work groups to work on sub-assemblies. These can later be merged into the global master model. Configuration management can be used to derive model variants from the same model.
